Sorry but.
Why would you want to put a fake blog in a book?
I am scared that someone will choose this book as a class reader and then get the class to keep a fake blog in their exercise books.
Noooooooooo
Do not let this happen.
Please write to your MP.
Thank you.

I can tell you are just teasing.
No, I think Kate is right. We should write to QCA today and argue our case. Maybe we could do an on-line mark schedule too- extra marks for pictures (obviously in the exercise book this would be drawn so we could give extra marks for colouring in) and of course no marks at all for anything with spelling/typographical mistakes or linking to anything bad.
Ok.
Persuasive arguments win.
Actually I now understand (finally) what you meant Kate.
I was thinking it was v bad to take the wonderfulness of blogs, move them backwards with boring book conventions and a static page and make them all boring and an object of study in the wrong format.
BUT. I think you meant that we could use books to persuade that anxious-mother-type that blogs are not after all scary. Is that what you mean?(sorry - am dense)
PPhew.
I get you now.
Hey Naomi this is a really good ref thanks!! I am dead impressed with your feisty remark back on the blog!!
