It is however, rather naughty to keep them in the house like we do.
But we have not got a shed.
Does anyone know any good shed bulilders in Sheffield?

Don't know any good shed builders but what nice bikes! there seems to be a cycling thread across our digiatl literacy lives, what with people we have met with personal trainers and SimplyClare mentioning my hero Lance. We are going on a bike ride this Sunday- first for 6 months.. I will be standing up a lot on Monday.

Mary Plain - you have found THE connection (and here's to Monday!)
Bikes! my better half has three and EVERY year he takes a day off work to watch the TDF mountain stages. One bike he rides into town; one he 'races' on (actually he is a genuine ironman - but hasn't raced for about 5 years because I make him do DIY); and hidden from robbers (but not for long) in our loft he has a 'Colnago'. Impressive or WHAT.
What I want to know is who owns the bike with the racing handlebars and the tri-bars? and how many gears have you got?

TTs bike has the racing handle bars as I don't like the. My bike has 14 gears I think.
It has Shimano 'clip on' pedals and they were very hard to get used to!!

Watch out for the Shimano pedal clips. I can tell you two stories about what happens when you have your feet stuck in them. They both concern Martin: one is about a clash with a herd of cows, and the other involved the air ambulance (see Mary Plain). I will tell you in Lincoln. I have decided to use a full stop to finish with today.
